Gaston County has a rich history of friends and neighbors stepping up to help when needs arise, as seen by the growing number of non-profit organizations serving the community. Preservation Gaston is fortunate to have a dedicated board of volunteers working hard to further the mission of historic preservation, and we welcome volunteers who want to join us.

Volunteers can be found touring historic buildings to determine if they’re candidates for preservation; decluttering and cleaning sites; doing repairs and painting structures that need a little TLC; and helping with open houses and special events to promote the work of Preservation Gaston, Inc.
